Recently, fuel prices began to drop as our ever-hopeful government announced their second fuel price from. First was from RM2.70 to RM2.55 and followed by RM2.55 to RM2.30 for RON97 petrol. It was never too low for me, but not for the others I guess. Judging from the traffic flow in KL, the congestion did decreased during the Raya festivities but for now, it is slowly jamming up once again.

More and more cars on the roads as time passes by. People are just getting richer, I presume. Back in the time when I was in the land Down Under, where fuel prices were so-freaking-high, people resorted to cycle whenever they can.

Which means, they do carry bicycles together with their car. They’d stop, park their cars… and cycle.

Alright. Alright. That was just my lousy introductory to my actual rant entry.

The more vehicles on the road obviously lead me to more weird discoveries. Some brainless acts actually began to surface among the “selfless” community…in KL. I’m not sure about the rest of the place, but let me tell you what I’ve encountered in my apartment area in KL.

I saw this back in Melbourne. I thought maybe it’s just someone who is lacking of parking skills or he/she might just be running out of time to save the cheerleader or save the world. Erm, not too bad, as long as it does not cause problems to the public, it’s OK, agree?

But how about THIS one below?

Lack of parking skill? or dunno how to do reverse or side parking? Can anyone gimme a logical explanation for this type of parking? Wanted a better view… see below.

As you can see, everyone else can park their cars in a systematic way, so that the maximum number of cars can be fit in an area of dense population. What is so special of this Satria GTI owner?

Let me squeeze my brains out for the last time before I prepare for exams this coming month. I am so eager to find all the imaginable answers that he/she could offer to the residents of this area. This picture was taken 10 a.m on a weekend. I believe, if the owner came home pretty late in the night and got no where else to park, some would forgive him/her if he/she would re-park the vehicle early in the morning. But that was not the case. It’s almost noon and the car is still there, blocking the traffic and hindering people from making a U-turn.

What are the reasons?

1. He/She was way too sober, tipsy, drunk and unable to park properly. Puke several times on the way back home and even shit himself/herself while walking.

2. He/She was so freaking urgent to go to the Loo and blast his/her shitloads… maybe he/she is too weak to walk after the ordeal.

3. The car owner got kidnapped, so there’s no way he/she can park the car nicely.

4. The next available parking is about 200 meters away. He/She is too lazy to walk that far, especially in the middle of the night.

5. The owner wanted to park in an open area, so that everyone can notice his/her car. This indirectly provides the best safety option because the area has been plagued with serious car break-in cases.

Fair enough? or not enough? Some crazy answers then…

6. Once the car is parked at that place, the rest of the nearby car owners removed their cars - this car is infamous for reckless driving and always crashed to the cars nearby when it is being parked.

7. This car is smelly. It emits pungent smell, very similar to rotten eggs. Just similar like human, no one likes to go near ones that has got bad odour. Cars too nowadays.

8. As you can see, behind the car is actually a hill slope. This car owner has a precognitive ability, similar to Angela Petrelli or Isaac Mendez or even the Mr. African Isaac. He/She forsees that there will a similar landslide which might cover his car with earth and mud - just like what shown in The Star news here.

On the other hand, as I’ve mentioned earlier, there are already a huge amount of car break-in cases in this residential area. I’m not talking about one or two cars got broken into every month. It is about 10-15 cars at once! You would see one whole stretch along the road with pieces of broken glass on the road. Worse still, it occurs almost every weekend. Two of my housemates were already victims.

We were all unsure of the motive. They did not attempt to still the cars. Just to take some petty cash and syillings away! Not even the radio systems or Touch ‘N’ Go cards! WTF~~~! They’d just break the side window, hoped in and take the coins… and my housemates were complaining that they rather give them the coins like giving it to the beggars rather than forking out RM100 for a new side window.

Talking about lodging a police report… The nearest police station is just 500 meters away, but unfortunately according to the officers, if we want to lodge a report, we need to go to some other police station which is about 5km away because this police station is not INCHARGED of any accidents or theft cases here.

I was left “amazed”. Malaysia Boleh!

This is yet another common sight in my residential area. All four wheels…poofed!

Wanna lodge a report? Nah, take your Flinstone ride by foot with your car 5km to that police station.

Welcome to the reality.

  1. Hahaha….nice post …. I think the Satria owner sleep walking and parked wrongly d… forgive him/her…lolzzzz

desmond-t: Do you sleep parking? hmm… i takut to sit your car adee lidat

  2. deja vu…..the method used to break into those cars in your area sounds eerily the same as what happened to my car about 2 or 3 years back in Medan Damansara residential area and the bastards struck my car twice! I’m pretty sure the perpetrators are still on the loose.

Talk about making a police report. The law says the public can lodge a report in any police station but as usual in Bolehland the word ENFORCEMENT doesn’t exist. SAD case.

Not only that. The officer-in-charge made me wait for an hour just for a simple report and to take some photographs of my car because he was busy watching Akademi Fantasia!!! No joke! Can seriously die of high-blood pressure while waiting for your report to be completed! One minute (not one minute, literally at least 15 for each of his stupid act), he’s glued to Akademi Fantasia, next minute he types your report wrongly and got your details all wrong because he wasn’t paying attention, next minute attends to others who came after you, you can just pull your hair off!

desmond-t: wah, kao sai! kena twice? for me i will kill those baskets adee lo… pasang perangkap tangkap babi liao! LOL and I have no idea what is so nice about Akademi Fantasia… Malaysia Boleh!
