My elder bro and I are big fans of spicy food. Since young, we were “trained” by our parents to eat super spicy chillies and curry dishes. Recently, he recommended me to this new place. It’s new for me but it is certainly not for others, especially in China. This is Restaurant Chicken Hot Pot.

Straight to the menu, they have a few variety of hot pot dishes ranging from chicken to beef… and to even dinosaur meat! Yeah! No joke man, they sell dinosaur meat, but in a pork version instead LOL.
I’ve been to this restaurant on 2 separate occasion just to try all the dishes out and it did turned out to be a satisfactory ones. It’s been so long since I last sweat it all out while having a real spicy meal. Puas betul!

They even have their very own SoP (Standard of Procedure) but unfortunately in Chinese. Since I tarak paham, I pun cincai pakai hantam aje.
The specialty lies when they serve your dish (a lil dried up) on a hot pot. You eat all the meat and vegetables until you’re ready to go a step further. This is when they add the spicy soup to your hot pot.

You can opt for a rather mild spicy soup or the extremely spicy one. Caution! It is really spicy - check the dried chiilies out! I rather chose the mixture of both simply because the dried chilly in your dish can still bring out the taste of the soup even after you refilled the soup for the 3rd round.
Stir evenly, ensure all the ingredients were mixed “homogeneously” and fried till boiling point. LOL just like the laboratory methods.
Alternately, there’s a few choices of steamboat side dishes for you to add to the soupy hot pot. Now it really turns to be a steamboat. You have options like mushroom, vegetables, noodles etc.
It’s time for the soupy version. Judging by the soup colour, what do you think of the degree of spicyness?
A full cup of Honey Lemon does the job on cooling down after meal.

Dear prefered a combination of Ice Blended Chocolate instead. Hot pot plus “hot” icy chocolate = Kaboom!
Overall verdict: Not bad and certainly worth visiting. Desmond-t sweats it all out and satisfied!
