Honestly, whenever I am at One Utama Shopping Complex for some Japanese food, I am often left with problems deciding which place to eat. There’s simply too many choices!
Sushi King, Sushi Zanmai, Sushi Groove, Nippon Yataimura, Sakae Sushi, Shogun Saisaki, Shojikiya, Teppanyaki and Yoshinoya… Make your choice, please.
Many a time, I am way too hungry and I opted to go to the nearest one. This time, Dear selected Sushi Groove. Coincidently, it’s our post-valentine dinner. Ooo, I totally enjoyed the ambience.
A familiar sight, the restaurant is pretty much empty during weekdays. Don’t ask me why, but I like the privacy there… and the friendly-&-prompt services.
When it’s not fully occupied, you can snap pictures like there’s no tomorrow. Unlike Tenji, you’ll sweat for the queue and lacklustre services.

This bowl needs no introduction in Japanese delicacy. A pure taste of Miso soup is served to open up your gluttony appetite and cleanse your tongue, mouth, throat, oesophagus, etc.
As what I’ve mentioned earlier, the daily promo. We had this Baby Dragon Roll.
My pick was the Yakiniku Bibimbab. I’m not so sure if Bibimbab is rather Korean or Japanese cuisine. But it definitely taste well. Still smoking hot, blurred the picture adee..ish ish
Dear always wanted this set to share with me - Groovy Beginning. Honestly, they are awesome! A bit expensive though hehehe
I bet most of the people have a biased view for Sushi Groove for the pricing. But hey, the sushi ain’t too bad though. You see the orangy sushi on top there, veli best wan I tell u! No joke.
LOL, but I felt kinda like this place and definitely worth future visits.
