3 weeks without an update huh? Well, it’s been a long 3 weeks for me. While I began my new chapter of life working in a new company, everything has changed to the very little details. Working life has so much to offer and I am starting to feel time and money is not enough.
4 massive birthday celebrations with dearest blogpost are coming up next but for now, let me get to you with this Euro Deli Grill at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng (Behind Public Bank Tower, off KLCC). So it was supposed to be a double birthday celebration for Swee Heng and Jian Huat, this place came to my mind and off we went for a try out.

Orange is the theme of the restaurant. Euro Deli Grill is a German-Swiss restaurant which serves one of the best pork knuckles and German Sausages in town. Don’t get me wrong, they serve really good sausages! Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s get back to KL, shall we? A little switch of tastebuds and we’re off to Kuchai Lama this time for my new found favourite. If you’d remember Chicken Hot Pot Restaurant, this shop that I’m gonna introduce to you is just around the corner too.

Introducing… Ah Soon’s Fish Head Mee at Winsoon Cafe, Kuchai Lama. This time we do it the KL style. The fish head noodle is exactly the milkish and sour type, which differs from the clear soup style we have in Penang. Being a lover of sour and spicy food, this is what I have been craving for in KL! Lack of updates, reason? Mid Semester Exam (when is it gonna end?) Hmm…

Alrite guys, I was just being relieved of the examination period, at least got 2 weeks before I start to get stressed with my Finals and thesis thingy. Yes, just a quick stress reliever - food. Izzi KL it is. An Italian and Asian cuisine this time.

My elder bro and I are big fans of spicy food. Since young, we were “trained” by our parents to eat super spicy chillies and curry dishes. Recently, he recommended me to this new place. It’s new for me but it is certainly not for others, especially in China. This is Restaurant Chicken Hot Pot.

For more introductory notes, kindly log on to www.chickenhotpot.com.cn.

Pictures for this blog entry were taken using Sony DSC-H3 camera while I was trying out this so-called “prosumer” camera before switching to DSLR photography. I made up my mind by picking up Canon 1000D, after testing out with Nikon D60, D80 and Canon 350D, 450D. At last, no more pictures from my V3xx and N73!
This is probably the best Pan Mee in town, recommended few years back by Eve from apple4today. Strategically located in the heart of KL city, it is just a walk across the road from Tune Hotel of Air Asia at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Enter a small road on the opposite side, I reckon it is behind Lorong Tunku Abdul Rahman 2. You will see a stretch of old shoplots and you are spot on!

I would say they have a few special features for their Pan Mee. Unfortunately, the serving is pretty small for RM4.50 per bowl which comes in a standard size. No size up, hehe.

Finally, back to a Malaysian food post this time. Another interesting note this time is that you will need to further cook your food at this restaurant in order to enjoy the best taste which suites your liking.

Desmond-t brings to you The Pepper Lunch Restaurant at The Pavilion, KL. Strategically located directly opposite J.Co Donuts which is very close to the Food Republic giant food court, I was lucky enough to be the first few customers of this brand NEW restaurant. Read the rest of this entry »

This place has been the talking point of the town for quite sometime. How can I ever give this place a miss?
The post-examination syndrome officially kicked off last week. The food hunting began 2 weeks before my exam actually ended… and I bet more adventures of Desmond-t is going to fill this blog real soon.
Straight to NZX Commercial Centre, a new hyped hangout area located in Ara Damansara. You might heard of this place similar to the one in Singapore called “Niu Ze Xui” in Mandarin or Ngau Zhe Shuey” in Cantonese. A concept of open-air commercial centre whereby you can shop, dine and exhibit events for people of all ages.
If you ain’t got no idea how to get to this place, fret not. It’s right opposite Kelana Jaya Putra LRT Station and before you reach Giant at LDP highway. Still not good enough? Go to SaiMatKong’s blog or if you are so lost, watch his YouTube video map on how to go to NZX. So, if you still fail to reach this place, I suggest you make a u-turn, go back home and sleep. That’d be ideal.
Initially, the driving force for me to go to NZX is this Fullhouse Lifestyle Store and Cafe. At first glance, you’d probably think that why on earth that that there’s so many people flocking in a store that sells household decoratives. Why some are just sitting there and chatting?

There’s so many people that you even have to stand and queue before you can be seated. Fine, it was a Sunday night, with some Disney Lantern Exhibition going on.

Many of you would have heard of this place. Yes, desmond-t is going to bring to you his version of Look Out Point, Hulu Langat. Do expect nice KL views, attractions and food galore from this place. A perfect hangout place, for the young and old. Last Saturday it is, a perfect time to go to The Look Out Point in the night as it rained cats and dogs in the evening. Immediately, the skies emerged as clear as it is after several spells of hazy atmosphere. What a time for a drive to this hillside hangout place.

Jianz just bought a new digital camera, so this outing’s photos were taken from his brand new Olympus 850 SW camera. With 8MP and shock proof and 3-meters waterproof camera, he is still learning to fully utilize his camera. This is the best result of the night, taken by ShiMikY over the night mode. Not bad for me, at least.
